HANOI, March 10 (Xinhua) -- The international kite festival 2009 themed in "The Dance of the East Sea" will be held in the southeastern coastal province of Ba Ria-Vung Tau of Vietnam from March 26 to 29, the local newspaper Young People reported Tuesday.
The event is expected to draw participants from 15 countries and regions including India, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and the U.S., with about 300 to 400 kites of all kinds.
The event will be based at two locations, the Ho Tram Beach Resort and Spa and the East Sea Tourism Site both in Ba Ria-Vung Tau province.
